Office Administrator / Sales Assistant needed 11th June 2016

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our growing team, who are the driving force behind this dynamic 
and innovative company.

The purpose of the Office Administrator / Sales Support role is to set appointments and sales opportunities for the Director and to provide strong administrational support for all stages 
of the sales cycle and on going customer relations.

The role is permanent part time, working from 10.00 am – 2.30 pm, Monday to Friday (during school term only). Our office is situated in Redfern, a short walk from Central station.

Editors

We are looking for editors to edit footage taken from our “Acting for Camera” workshops, which have been devised and acted by StarTime students, and then create short films and montages for our students to view on DVD.

Each editing project will require between 10-17hrs of work. This is a great opportunity for young editors or for those willing to hone their craft. It does require you to work fast and be professional, but it also provides you the freedom to take creative risks.

The majority of our work is during the school holidays and at the end of school terms.

Successful applicants will have the following:

– Experience with either FCP 7, Final Cut X or Adobe Premier
– Enjoy being creative with their editing and be able to edit to music well
– Able to work evenings
– Have their own computer and software
– Able to download from mini-dv as well as Digital HD files
– Able to author to a DVD
– Experience with green screen. Acting experience (Preferable but not essential)
– Have an ABN

Film-Makers

We have developed cutting edge digital media programs for primary and secondary school students, which we are now in the process of rolling out, both nationally and internationally.
