Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in a StarTime Studios workshop, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

  1. General Terms (Applies to All Programs)
1.1. Enrolment & Payment Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
1.2. Refund Policy StarTime Studios does not offer refunds for change of mind, change in personal circumstances, or non-attendance, except in the rare event that a school or venue must unexpectedly close.
1.3. Credit for Medical Reasons A credit (valid for 12 months) may be issued if a participant is unable to attend due to illness, provided a valid medical certificate is submitted prior to the program’s commencement.
1.4. Workshop Cancellation In the event StarTime Studios cancels or reschedules a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, all fees will be fully refunded or transferred to another available session.
1.5. Coach Substitution Due to the professional commitments of our facilitators, StarTime Studios reserves the right to make last-minute substitutions of coaches or course material where necessary.
1.6. Safety and Behaviour All participants are expected to follow safety instructions and behave respectfully. StarTime Studios reserves the right to remove any participant who compromises safety, disrupts others, or fails to follow directions. No refund or credit will be provided in such instances.
1.7. Health Policy Children presenting any of the following symptoms must not attend:
  • Sore throat
  • Temperature at or above 37.4°C
  • Runny nose
  • Any cold or flu-like symptoms
1.8. Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Holiday Programs (e.g., at corporate venues or public locations):
  • Parents/Guardians are required to sign children in and out each day.
  • Children must be collected promptly at the scheduled end time.
  • A late fee of $1.50 per minute will be charged if a child is not picked up on time to cover additional staffing costs.
Term Programs (e.g., before/after-school workshops):
  • Sign-in/out is not required as the programs run within school premises.
  • Parents must provide clear drop-off and pick-up instructions during registration.
  • Children will only be released if they can visually identify their parent/guardian at pick-up.
  • Changes to pick-up arrangements must be submitted in writing to StarTime before the session.
1.9. Personal Property StarTime Studios accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings. Any found items will be handed to venue management.
1.10. Contact Information Parents/Guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact details and notify StarTime promptly of any changes.
1.11. Privacy & Media Consent Photos and/or video may be taken during workshops for training, marketing, and archival purposes. If you do not wish your child to appear in this content, please notify us in writing at [email protected].au.

  1. Holiday Program Specific Terms
2.1. Changes to Enrolment Requests for changes (including transfers or credits) must be made at least 7 days before the program start date. Changes after this deadline cannot be accommodated.
2.2. Minimum Numbers Programs require a minimum number of enrolments to proceed. If cancelled, you will be offered a full refund, credit, or transfer to another workshop.

  1. Term Program Specific Terms
3.1. Missed Sessions No refunds or make-up sessions are provided for missed classes unless absence is due to medical reasons and a valid certificate is provided (see Section 1.3).
3.2. School-Initiated Cancellations If a session is cancelled by the host school (e.g., due to early dismissal or emergency), StarTime will attempt to reschedule. If this isn’t possible, a credit will be issued.
